What we collect

Only what you type into our form: first and last name, email address, phone number, company, city, state or province, postal code, product type, quantity, the service you want, grade, your message, and the address of the page you submitted from. The page address is captured automatically so that a grader knows which part of the site prompted your question.

We do not run advertising trackers, analytics profiling, session recording, fingerprinting or third-party marketing pixels on this site. There are no cookies set for tracking purposes.

Why we collect it

  • To grade, price and schedule the containers you are buying or selling.
  • To send you the documentation that goes with a load.
  • To answer the question you asked, in writing, from a real person.

That is the entire list. We do not use your information for behavioural advertising and we do not build audience segments from it.

Who sees it

Our yard crew, and the lead-capture service we use to receive and store form submissions on our behalf. That provider processes the data under contract and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes. If a load involves a carrier or a licensed disposal partner, they receive only what the shipment requires — typically a name, a site address and the contents declaration.

We do not sell, rent, license or trade personal information. There is no exception to this.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not become orders are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Records tied to a transaction — declarations, cleaning certificates, diversion statements, serial histories — are kept for seven years, because compliance documentation for containers has to outlive the containers.

Your choices

  • Ask us what we hold about you and we will send it.
  • Ask us to correct it and we will.
  • Ask us to delete it and we will, except where a transaction record has to be retained for regulatory reasons — in which case we will tell you exactly what is being kept and why.
  • You can ask all of this by emailing info@ibctotespickup.com. No form, no portal, no account.

Security

Form submissions travel over TLS and are stored by our lead provider with access limited to named staff. API credentials are held as server-side environment variables and are never exposed to your browser — this site ships no public API keys of any kind.

Children

This is an industrial container business. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. We will not quietly broaden what we do with your information; if that ever changed, it would be stated plainly here.

Field by field

Exactly what each form field is used for

Fourteen fields. Here is why every one of them exists and what happens to it — if a field has no operational purpose, it should not be on the form.

The phone number is required because a carrier needs a contact for a delivery window. We do not call for sales — there is no sales department and no telephone line.
  • Validation happens on our own server before anything is forwarded. Postal codes are checked against real USPS ZIP allocations and Canadian format rules; phone numbers against North American numbering plan rules.
  • A hidden honeypot field catches automated submissions. If it is filled in, the submission is accepted silently and forwarded nowhere.
  • No analytics profiling, no session recording, no fingerprinting, no advertising pixels, and no tracking cookies.
  • Product analytics (page views, clicks, scroll depth) are collected through our own reverse proxy and are not linked to form submissions unless you submit one.
Your choices in practice

How to exercise any of these in one email

01

Ask what we hold

Email us from the address you used. We send everything filed against it, usually within two business days.

02

Ask us to correct it

Tell us what is wrong. Corrections are made in place and confirmed back to you.

03

Ask us to delete it

We delete, except where a transaction record must be retained for compliance — and we tell you exactly what is being kept and why.

04

Ask us to stop

There is no marketing list to leave. If you ask us not to contact you again, that is the end of it.

Do you sell or share my information?

No. Not to data brokers, not to partners, not to anybody. The only third parties who see anything are the lead-capture provider that stores form submissions on our behalf under contract, and — for a shipment — the carrier or licensed disposal partner, who receive only what the load requires.

Will I get marketing email?

No. We do not run a newsletter or a drip sequence. You will hear from a grader about the thing you asked about, and then only if you ask again.

Why do you keep records for seven years?

Because compliance documentation for containers has to outlive the containers. Last-contents declarations, cleaning certificates and diversion statements are the evidence behind a grade, and an auditor may ask for them years later.

What about quote requests that never become orders?

Deleted after 24 months. There is no commercial reason to keep them longer and we do not.

Is my data stored in the United States?

Yes. Our lead provider and our hosting are US-based, and nothing is replicated outside it as a matter of routine.

Do you use cookies?

No tracking or advertising cookies. The site stores nothing in your browser to identify you; product analytics use a first-party proxy and can be blocked without breaking anything, including the form.
