Sometimes new is the right answer
We sell new containers for the five applications that genuinely need them — and we will talk you out of it for the other ninety-five.

We would rather sell you a new one than oversell reuse
A reuse company that pretends used containers suit every application is just a different kind of salesman. There are five situations where new is the correct engineering choice, and this is the page for them.
- Direct food contact where your HACCP plan requires virgin material. No argument from us.
- Hydrogen peroxide and other strong oxidisers that need a never-used, passivated bottle.
- Pharmaceutical and cosmetic intermediates with documentation requirements no reconditioner can satisfy.
- Export shipments where the destination inspects for a recent UN test date on arrival.
- Applications where a container failure costs more than the entire fleet — then buy new and sleep.
And five where it is a waste of money
Ag nutrient, water, glycol, soaps and anything you intend to cut, drill or modify. Never modify a new tote — you are destroying the exact premium you paid for.

- Pallet
- Composite, full steel or plastic — your choice, same price
- Hardware
- New 2" butterfly valve, EPDM seat, 6" buttress cap with tamper ring

- 275 gal (1040 L) and 330 gal (1250 L)
| Option | Price index | Embodied CO₂e | Our recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|
| New / one-trip | 100 | ≈ 262 lb | Only for the five cases above |
| Rebottled | 52 | ≈ 50 lb | Nearly always the better buy |
| Grade A used | 48 | ≈ 0 lb | The default answer |
One-trip is not the same as new
A 'one-trip' tote has been filled exactly once — usually with a benign product, shipped once, and emptied. It carries a fresh test date, virgin resin and a single documented fill. For most food and beverage work it is functionally new at roughly 70% of the price, and it is the single most under-used option in this industry. Ask for it by name.
Can you tell me what the one trip was?
Yes. We will not sell a one-trip container without naming its single previous contents in writing.
Does it have a full UN marking?
Yes, with the original test date intact, which is usually within twelve months.
What is the lead time?
New units are built to order: two to four weeks. One-trip stock is usually available the same week.
What you are actually paying for
A new composite IBC costs roughly twice a reconditioned one. Four things account for the difference, and only two of them are usually worth it.
| What you get | Worth paying for when | Not worth it when |
|---|---|---|
| Virgin, never-filled bottle | Food contact, oxidisers, pharma | Water, nutrient, glycol, soap |
| Fresh UN test date | Export inspection on arrival | Domestic non-regulated duty |
| Documented resin certification | Your plan requires it on file | You will never be asked |
| Full 5–8 year service life | The container will be used that long | Seasonal or short-term use |
| New cage, pallet and hardware | Nothing — reused ones are as good | Always |

One-trip, properly explained
A one-trip container has been filled exactly once, usually with a benign product, shipped once and emptied. It carries virgin resin, a test date typically within twelve months, and a single documented fill. For most food and beverage work it is functionally new at roughly 70% of the price, and it is the most under-used option in this industry — largely because almost nobody advertises it by name.

Will you tell me what the one trip was?
Always, in writing. We will not sell a one-trip container without naming its single previous contents, because a one-trip unit with an unknown fill is just an undocumented used container at a premium price.
Can I get new containers with my branding?
Yes — printed placards, cage plates or full wrap, never across the UN plate. Artwork stays on file for repeat orders.
Do new containers come with a warranty?
They carry the manufacturer's defect warranty, which we pass through. Our own grade warranty covers reconditioned units; a new container either arrives sound or it is a manufacturing claim.
Is new always available?
New is built to order with a two to four week lead time, so it is availability by schedule rather than from stock. If you need containers this week, one-trip or Grade A used is the realistic answer.
Why do you publish the carbon figure on a page selling new containers?
Because it is the honest comparison and because two of the five reasons to buy new are safety reasons that outrank it. We would rather you knew the number and bought new anyway than found out later.
