One yard, one inbox
Everything reaches the same desk in Peoria: the form, the email, the audit request and the 400-container shutdown nobody warned us about.

No phone number — deliberately. See below for why.
Yard hours
- Monday - Friday7:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT
- Saturday8:00 AM - 1:00 PM CT
- SundayClosed (yard pickups by appointment)
All times Central. Email is answered through the working day and usually once more in the evening during spring season.
Chanute Road, north Peoria
From I-74, take the Route 6 spur north, exit at University Street and head west. The yard is on the north side of Chanute Road — look for the stack of cages three high along the fence line, which is the only landmark anybody has ever needed.
- Semi access from Chanute Road, no residential streets involved.
- Turning room inside the gate for a 53 foot trailer.
- Scale on site; weight tickets available for any load.
- Twenty minutes from the Peoria airport, ninety from Bloomington.
After you send that form
A grader reads it
Not a sales rep, not an auto-responder. The person who will handle your containers reads the request.
You get a written reply
Usually the same business day, always with specifics: grades, counts, price band and a load window.
We schedule against a real route
Your load goes onto an actual lane with a date, not into a pipeline to be nurtured.
Paperwork follows the truck
Bill of lading and diversion statement by email the same day the load moves.
Why there is no phone number
We removed it in 2019. Everything in writing means every commitment is timestamped, every grade is disputable against a record, and a grader can answer a dozen requests in the time one call takes. Response times improved and disputes nearly vanished.
Coming to the yard
- By appointment, weekday mornings are best — email a day or two ahead.
- Closed-toe shoes required. High-visibility vests provided at the office.
- We will load you with our forklift; bring your own straps and a legal way to secure the load.
- Yard pickups on Sundays are possible by prior arrangement for commercial accounts.
- If you want to audit the wash bay records or the diversion worksheets, say so when you book — we will have them out.

What to put in the message field
- The count. Even a rough one. 'About forty' is far more useful than nothing.
- The last contents, by product name and concentration rather than category. 'Caustic' covers 5% and 50%, and they are different containers afterwards.
- How the containers are stored — indoors, outdoors, covered, stacked, and roughly how long.
- Site access: dock, forklift, ground level, gate width, and any truck length restriction.
- The date that actually matters, and why. 'Before the beans' beats a date picked to be polite.
- A Loop Lab ticket code if you ran one. The grader will know exactly which container you mean before they reply.
Why will you not take a phone call?
We removed the line in 2019. Everything in writing means every commitment is timestamped and every grade is disputable against a record, and a grader can answer a dozen requests in the time one call takes. Response times improved and disputes nearly vanished, so it stayed.
Is the form the same as emailing you?
It reaches the same desk. The form is faster for us to act on because it captures the count, the service and the postal code, which are the three things we would otherwise have to ask for.
How quickly do you really reply?
Usually the same business day. In the first three weeks of a compressed spring it can be two days, and we will say so rather than going quiet.
Can I send photographs?
Please do — reply to our first email with them. Four per container type: placard, valve open, top fitting, and a wide shot of the stack.
Do you have a sales team I can escalate to?
No. There is no sales department and nobody here is paid on volume. If you disagree with an answer, the yard manager will look at it, and that is the whole escalation path.
What if my question is not about buying anything?
Ask it anyway. A good share of our inbox is people checking whether a container is suitable for something, and several of those questions became blog posts.
